Personal Statement
He entered into Tamilnadu Medical Service as Assistant surgeon in July 1968 and worked for 18 years in
primary health centre, Govt Dispensary, Taluk and Dis. Head quarters hospitals and became a tutor in
anatomy and later in surgery from July 1986 at Thanjavur Medical College. He was promoted as assistant
professor, Reader, Additional Professor and finally Professor and HOD Department of Surgery,
Thanjavur from April 2000. He Retired on 31/01/2002. At present he is a consultant General Surgeon
Endoscopist & Laparoscopist at Vinodhagan Memorial Hospital.
