She served as a tutor in cardiology at Thanjavur medical college between 1991-2000
She served as an Assistant professor of General medicine at Thanjavur Medical College between (1985- 1991).
She served as a senior civil surgeon and reader in medicine at Thanjavur medical college between (2000-2001)
She rendered her teaching service between 1984-2001
She voluntarily retired from Thanjavur medical college in 2011
